Meet Our Veterinarians

  • Elizabeth Grey
Dr Grey was born in New York, but her family moved to San Diego when she was 12. While she was growing up, her family did a lot of rescue work with animals. Her father impressed upon her at an early age that once you commit to an animal, you are responsible for providing it with the best care possible.
  • Dr. Cliff Matsuda Dr. Cliff Matsuda
Dr. Matsuda originally intended to get into human medicine, but got a job working at the veterinary department during his schooling at the University of California Davis and got hooked on veterinary medicine. He ended up switching his studies to the animal world and now works as an Associate Veterinarian at Carmel Mountain Ranch.

What our clients say about us

  • "Love it here! They are so sweet and amazing with the animals, The Vet John A is so understanding and really talks you through the details of taking care of your pet. Highly recommended!!"
    Brandy R.
  • "Love this place!! The staff is always accommodating and truly cares about all the animals...they get that pets are family. We have 2 labs (Zoey & Maya) which can get very expensive very quickly & I never feel pressured or guilted into to spending unnecessary money. They are awesome! Thank you to everyone that works there, especially Dr. Gray, for caring about our kids the way we do!"
    Catherine B.
  • "I have always had a very good experience with this clinic. Especially when I had a very sick cat that I eventually had to have put to sleep. At which time I was VERY grateful for Dr. Grey and her staff to be willing to come to my house and take care of him there. Not the cheapest vet hospital, but totally worth the care and good services I have experienced. THANK YOU ALL!"
